Coach Michael Bernardo of Apayao Eagle's flashed happiness on his face as his player Prine Jhon Armas and Paul Andrei Perdido grizzled the pride of Baguio E-Lions, Jericho Alexies Fabiculanan and Mathew Reuel Miravite, 21-17 in badminton boys doubles during the CARAA Meet 2019 at NFA, Tumog, Luna, Apayao.
In the first portion of the game, Fabiculanan and Miravite extemporaneously showed up their astonishing vigor that increased their score against Apayao Eagles in 12-6. But, Apayao Eagles cleverly thought-out their tactics and performed apocalyptic maneuvers to tie up their score against Baguio E-Lions 13-13.
The game was hot because it was a close match and became a nuclear holocaust with the deafening cheers of the audience.
Good collaboration of Armas and Perdido made an uninterrupted blisters that pushed Baguio E-Lions to set back in the finals.
According to an interview with coach Bernardo, "Sa mga ganitong event, talaga naman na naghahanda ang lahat. Actually, di namin inexpect na Baguio agad yung makakaharap namin. We all know kasi the fact na ang Baguio ay isa sa mga pinakamalakas na kalaban pero ayun nga , sa tulong ng ating very supportive government nakapag-ensayo kami ng mabuti at unexpectedly natalo namin sila", he stated happily. “ So ayun gagalingan pa namin sa susunod na laban para makakuha ng parangal”, he added.
