Benguet Stingers, Brave Mountaineers, advance to semi-finals
Benguet Stingers sip the victory after giving a puncture to the Mt. Province Brave Mountaineers in men’s volleyball, 25-23, 25-19, which advanced them in the semi-finals along with Baguio City e-Lions with 2 wins in the CARAA 2019 last February 28 at EKB Memorial Gymnasium and Multipurpose Building, Pudtol, Apayao.
The Brave Mountaineers collapsed after Stingers poisoned them in their powerful spikes and 3-man block rejecting the former to snatch a lead in the first set, 25-23. The venom of the Stingers continues as they paralyzed the Brave Mountaineers in climbing back into glory in the second set.
The Brave Mountaineers summons its strength to reach the peak of success but the Stingers counter their strength by pulling their lever down by maintaining their strong defense and powerful offense. The spikers of the Brave Mountaineers continue to be rejected by the block of the Stingers making it difficult for them to forward their score against the Stingers, 25-19.
