“Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.”—Andrew Carnegie
Hosting Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association (CARAA) 2019 is a challenging yet inspiring responsibility to all Iapayaos for this is the biggest sports event in the cordillera. Actually, this is the second time that Apayao province is the host of CARAA. But like any other big events that everyone attends, this one is somehow an avenue to showcase the Iapayao cultures, traditions and its wonderful and exhilarating tourist spots. Likewise, it is a roadway to improve the province itself along with its different outlooks.
Truly, hosting CARAA 2019 is an honor. And to make the event remarkable and memorable, every goal of this enormous event must be adhered to so that the hosting of this Meet will really be a success.
Generally, the event’s goal is not to discern every participant but to welcome him/ her wholeheartedly.
It is to create athletes who are not only qualified as Palaro Players but to bring out their spirit of camaraderie through their active participation in the athletic event.
It is not to create coaches and trainers that are only after medals, certificates and trophies but to become lifelong mentors to a sport and principled generation of athletes.
It is to introduce new & worthwhile experiences to make them more inspired.
Finally, the goal is to transform every participant’s life through fair play and strong bond of camaraderie.
Hopefully, this CARAA Meet 2019 is not just the end goal of every athlete and trainer but a launch pad for excellence, high standard and innovation for this thing we love-SPORTS.
“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much”, an inspiring quote by Helen Keller which lead us to remember that teamwork begins by building trust. And the only way to do that is to overcome our invulnerability and imperfectness.
Hail Cordillerans! Aim High, Dream High!
