It might be just less than a symbol but its importance gave a great impact to everybody.
Seven athletes represented their own divisions holding their torch with dignity and pride as they reach the athletic urn for CARAA Meet 2018 in which it is kindled by the light of their triumphant aim. The torch flame symbolizes for protection and struggle for victory.
The opening program made a significant impact to all, as it celebrate cultural diversity with pride, passion and honor as the athletes, coaches and other spectators come together as one.
The Philippine All Star dancers with Abra Lung-ay Dance troupe mesmerized the audience with their awestrucking opening production. Mrs. Emma C. Segundo led the prayer called “uggayam”.
Hon. Mayor Dominic B. Valera welcomes the guests and delegates. The hoisting of the delegation banners represents the raise of their vision and goal for the pride of their province.
Abra State Institute of Science and Technology Bangued Cultural Affairs Society showed an artistic and theatrical ethnic festival showcasing the different dance of the Abraenians.
Selected pupils from Bangued District demonstrated their skills in dancing in festivity. Different kinds of ballroom dancing were done by the selected students of Cristina B. Gonzales Memorial High School. Their movements and presentations entertained the audience. It showed that Abraenians are really versatile in their talents in dancing.
A dramatic and balletic dance was done by Abra Lung-ay Dance troupe inspired the audience that made a great impression to everyone.
A breathtaking cheerdance was shown by pupils from An-anaw Integrated School made a great impact because of their stunts, props, dance moves and of course with their confidence and sweet smile to their audience.
A release of ceremonial balloons was demonstrated to show unity that even though there are individual differences but because of the spirit of hope we are all united as one, one for the Cordillera.
The most awaited part of this program is the formal declaration of the CARAA Meet 2018, and the audience was surprised with the spectacular fireworks display. It was indeed a grandiose night ever for everyone. The awesome show ever that everyone can never forget.
