Pablito Yanes, co-coach of Benguet described his team as “very diverse since they came from different districts of Benguet. During their training, we housed them together for one week so they can create a bond as a team.” When asked what he always tell his team was that, “Always build your confidence because I believe that they already have the skills.”
Key players of the game John Russell Tuazon and Neil Ralph Ulep mentioned that “The training even if it was only for a week was very helpful to us. We were very nervous because this is our first game. It also helped that our parents are very supportive. We hope to win the next games as we face Team Baguio tomorrow.”
